VANDALIZATION OF CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE ;- SEVEN (7) ARRESTED
The Adamawa State Police Command in its effort to ensure public safety and security, the command apprehended seven suspect who intentionally Conspired, destroyed and stole pipeline belonging to NNPCL and recovered fifty three pieces of pipelines.
Police Public Relation Officer Adamawa State SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje stated this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.
The Command acted upon information provided by a good Samaritan and those arrested are
(1) Umar Musa 40years a resident of Kaduna road, Abuja
(2) Mohammed Hassan 25years resident of kasuwan shanu Potiskum ,Yobe State (3)Adamu Abdullahi 28years resident of Bununu Funai,Yobe State .
(4) Yakubu Adamu 27years resident of Sabon layi, Potiskum, Yobe State
(5) Gabriel Wale 40years resident of mafoluku oshodi, Lagos state
(6) Abubakar Garba 40years resident of Anwan losa, Kaduna State.
(7) Aliyu Muhammad 28years, Darazo local Government, Bauchi state.
This distressing incident poses a substantial threat to public safety and represents a severe act of economic sabotage as it pertains to a crucial infrastructure linking the Adamawa and Southern part of the country.
The case has been meticulously documented for a comprehensive investigation, and measures are underway to apprehend their Collaborators who are operating along with them from behind the scene.
These achievements underscores the Command's resolute dedication to safeguarding public assets and ensuring citizens' safety through collaborative community efforts.
