VANDALIZATION OF CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE ;- SEVEN (7) ARRESTED











The Adamawa State Police Command in its effort to ensure public safety and security, the command apprehended seven suspect  who intentionally Conspired, destroyed and stole pipeline belonging to NNPCL and recovered fifty three pieces of pipelines.


Police Public Relation Officer Adamawa State SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje stated this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.

The Command acted upon information provided by a good Samaritan and those arrested are
(1) Umar Musa 40years a resident of Kaduna road, Abuja
(2) Mohammed Hassan 25years resident of kasuwan shanu Potiskum ,Yobe State (3)Adamu Abdullahi 28years resident of Bununu Funai,Yobe State .
(4) Yakubu Adamu 27years resident of Sabon layi, Potiskum, Yobe State 
(5) Gabriel Wale 40years resident of mafoluku oshodi, Lagos state 
(6) Abubakar Garba 40years resident of Anwan losa, Kaduna State.
(7) Aliyu Muhammad 28years, Darazo local Government, Bauchi state.

This distressing incident poses a substantial threat to public safety and represents a severe act of economic sabotage as it pertains to a crucial infrastructure linking the Adamawa and Southern part of the country.

The case has been meticulously documented for a comprehensive investigation, and measures are underway to apprehend their Collaborators who are operating along with them from behind the scene.

These achievements underscores the Command's resolute dedication to safeguarding public assets and ensuring citizens' safety through collaborative community efforts.

Born on January 1, 1941 (21 Zul Hajj 1358), Bobboi Muhammad Ahmad lived a life marked by dedication to his faith and family. He is survived by a large and loving family, including 13 sons, 6 daughters, and 77 grandchildren. Known for his strong family ties and leadership within his community, his legacy is further carried on by his only surviving sister. In reflecting on his life, the family recalled his fondness for caring for pigeons, with 7 still in his care at the time of his passing. This appointment marks a significant step forward in the Commission’s mission to promote and safeguard human rights within the region. Alongside this, Hassan Alh. Ahmadu Maiha has been named the State Deputy Coordinator for Adamawa State.
