Our Dear Professor Pate.t's really a sad moment to hear about the demise of your beloved Mother,Hajiya Zainab Pate.


Our hearts bleed as  we light candles for a true mother and a devoted matriarch.


Our thoughts wonder as we mourn a woman of uncommon aspirations and character of whose thumb print lies on your very person.



N U J discloused this in a statement by secretary Adamawa State  Fidelis Jackthon.


But with all  gratitude to the all Mighty Allah, your late mother leaves immense footprints on the sands of history.


Hajiya Zainab,a mirow of an ideal woman will greatly be missed not by the Pate family only,but all who came in contact with her during her life times.


While we pray for the repose of her soul,our thoughts and prayers are with you our dear Professor.


Accept the heartfelt condolences of the state Chairman, Comrade Ishaka Donald Dedan and the entire Council members of our great union.

The Adamawa State Police Command regrets to confirm a fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred on 3rd June, 2026, at about 1:50 p.m. along the Narehi area of Girei-Song Local Government Areas. Police Public Relation OfficerAdamawa state Command SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje  discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola. The unfortunate incident involved a military Gun truck travelling from Gombi towards Yola and a commercial Hummer bus conveying five (5) passengers from Yola to Mubi. Preliminary findings reveals that both vehicles were involved in a head-on collision, resulting in the commercial bus flipped over and burst into flames. Tragically, all five passengers aboard the Hummer bus were burnt to death after the vehicle caught fire following the collision. ASUU MODIBBO ADAMA UNIVERSITY BRANCH COMMENCED TWO WEEK WARNING STRIKE.

  By Alhassan Haladu Yola. ‎The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Modibbo Adama University (MAU) Yola branch, has commenced a two-week warning strike in compliance with the directive of the union’s national body over unresolved demands with the Federal Government. ‎ ‎The Chairperson of ASUU, MAU Yola branch, Comrade Modibbo Muhammed Buba, disclosed this in a statement issued shortly after the union’s congress held at the university. ‎ ‎According to Comrade Buba, the media interaction became necessary for two main reasons — to brief the public on the state of the union’s engagement with the Federal Government concerning outstanding issues, and to clarify the notice of action issued by the National Executive Council (NEC) of ASUU on 29th September 2025. ‎ ‎He said the NEC meeting had expressed concern over the Federal Government’s neglect of the university system and its persistent refusal to meet the union’s longstanding demands. NSCDC Adamawa State Command Deploys 2,521 Personnel for Easter Festivitie

By Alhassan Haladu Yola. The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Adamawa State Command, has deployed  2,521 personnel* across the state to ensure a safe and peaceful Easter celebration. The State Commandant, Comdt Idris Bande, issued the directive for the massive deployment to provide adequate safety and security for lives and property, as well as to protect all critical national assets and infrastructure within Adamawa State during the Easter period. Public Relation Officer of the Command Adamawa state DSC Amidu Nyako Baba discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.
