Adamawa State Police Arrested 20 years Old over stabbing to










 Adamawa State Police Command in its fight against Violence crime apprehended a 20years old Abubakar Abdu, a resident of Gengle village of Mayo Belwa local Government area, for stabbing to death one Azumi Abubakar, 30years.



Police Public Relation Officer Adamawa State Command SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.



The suspect had broke into the house of the victim and stole some quantity of maize. In an attempt to escaped, the victim sighted, identified and called the suspect with his name. 


Upon realizing that he was noticed, he immediately attacked the victim by stabbing  her with a knife as a result she died.


The arrest follows the complaint received from the victim's Husband 


The suspect will be charged to court as soon as investigation is completed.

The Adamawa State Police Command regrets to confirm a fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred on 3rd June, 2026, at about 1:50 p.m. along the Narehi area of Girei-Song Local Government Areas. Police Public Relation OfficerAdamawa state Command SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje  discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola. The unfortunate incident involved a military Gun truck travelling from Gombi towards Yola and a commercial Hummer bus conveying five (5) passengers from Yola to Mubi. Preliminary findings reveals that both vehicles were involved in a head-on collision, resulting in the commercial bus flipped over and burst into flames. Tragically, all five passengers aboard the Hummer bus were burnt to death after the vehicle caught fire following the collision. ASUU MODIBBO ADAMA UNIVERSITY BRANCH COMMENCED TWO WEEK WARNING STRIKE.

NSCDC Adamawa State Command Deploys 2,521 Personnel for Easter Festivitie

The State Commandant, Comdt Idris Bande, issued the directive for the massive deployment to provide adequate safety and security for lives and property, as well as to protect all critical national assets and infrastructure within Adamawa State during the Easter period.
