CARE Nigeria Launches 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence

BY IBRAHIM ABUBAKAR JIMETA

From November 25th to December 10th, CARE Nigeria is joining the global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign. This initiative aims to spotlight the urgent need to address gender-based violence (GBV), promote gender equality, and inspire collective action to end violence in all its forms.

Gender-based violence remains a pervasive issue affecting millions, particularly women and girls. CARE Nigeria reaffirms its dedication to empowering survivors, pushing for robust legal protections, and creating safer, more inclusive communities.

"This campaign is not just a call to awareness but a rallying cry for change," a CARE Nigeria representative said. "We believe in a world where everyone can live free from fear and harm."

CARE Nigeria invites individuals, organizations, and policymakers to join the movement, stand in solidarity with survivors, and take actionable steps toward ending GBV.
