COMMUNITY POLICING:- AIG Afolabi Babatola Visits Adamawa State Command, Engages Community Stakeholders
Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 3, AIG Afolabi Babatola, today, paid an official visit to the Adamawa State Police Command, where he engaged officers, members of the public, and critical stakeholders in attendance are members of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Eminent Persons Forum, Hunters Association, Vigilante Groups, Tabital Pulaku, the Special Constabulary. Traditional and Religious leaders, amongst others.
Police Public Relation Officer Adamawa state Command SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje stated this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.
In his welcome address, the Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State, Dankombo Morris warmly received the AIG and his entourage where he outlined some significant successes recorded by the Command under his leadership, especially in the area of Kidnapping activities and Shilla Gangsterism.
ln his remarks, the AIG commended the Commissioner of Police, critical stakeholders, officers, and men of the Command for their dedication duty as well as their tireless efforts in combating crimes, promotion of peace and security in the state..He appealed for more support and partnership so as to sustain the already achieved success.
The event was graced by prominent personalities which includes; the State Chairman of the PCRC, Hon. Musa Bubakari Kamale, Hon. Hussaini Gambo Nakura as well as religious and traditional leaders.
Discussions during the visit focused on how to strengthen the already existing Community partnership with a view to scoring more success in terms of crime fighting within the State.
