JIMETA MARKET WOMEN, PETTY TRADERS APPLAUD GOVERNOR FINTIRI ON N50,000 BUSINESS WALLET EMPOWERMENT SCHEME

Market women and petty traders in Adamawa State have expressed their gratitude to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his impactful policies aimed at empowering women and improving their economic status.


The commendation came during the distribution of forms for the Fintiri Business Wallet under the PAWECA initiative at Old Market and Palluja Markets in Jimeta. The distribution was led by Barr. Jibril Ibrahim Jimeta,


Barr Jibril Ibrahim Jimeta advised the women to contenue praying for the development for the state and the country at large.

Born on January 1, 1941 (21 Zul Hajj 1358), Bobboi Muhammad Ahmad lived a life marked by dedication to his faith and family. He is survived by a large and loving family, including 13 sons, 6 daughters, and 77 grandchildren. Known for his strong family ties and leadership within his community, his legacy is further carried on by his only surviving sister. In reflecting on his life, the family recalled his fondness for caring for pigeons, with 7 still in his care at the time of his passing. "Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un," his family stated in a message, expressing their full submission to the will of Allah. His passing marks a significant loss, and his memory will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. This appointment marks a significant step forward in the Commission’s mission to promote and safeguard human rights within the region. Alongside this, Hassan Alh. Ahmadu Maiha has been named the State Deputy Coordinator for Adamawa State. Both appointments are expected to enhance the Commission’s ability to reach grassroots communities and respond swiftly to human rights violations throughout the state. The IHRC has also established strong collaborations with key government agencies in Adamawa, ensuring efficient service delivery and a united effort to uphold human rights standards in the state.
