Hajj 2025: Intending pilgrims urged to complete payments in Yola north, Girei LGAs






As part of preparation for the 2025 Hajj exercise, intending Pilgrims in Yola North and Girei Local governments of Adamawa State have been advised to pay their deposits before the end of this month.


Schedule Officers of the two LGAs, Mallam Salihu Garba, and Alh. Ya'u Gambo gave the advise in an interview with journalist in Yola.


The Schedule Officer of the Girei LGA, Mallam Salihu Garba stressed the importance of depositing early for the intending pilgrims to avoid disappointment.


He noted that due to their previous experiences, intending pilgrims are advised to be patient and complete their payment before closing time which expires end of December.


The Schedule Officer also appealed to the intending pilgrims from the LGA to give maximum support to the Hajj officials in their areas for a successful exercise.


However, the Schedule Officer of the Yola North Local Government Area, Alhaji Ya'u Gambo called on the intending pilgrims in Yola North to do everything possible to complete their payments before the expiring date of December, 2024.


Gambo explained that the called become necessary because as orientation (Bita) will commence soon, for the 2025 Hajj exercise.


"National Hajj Commission NAHCON has directed intending Pilgrims who want to perform Hajj in 2025 to deposit eight point five million naira (N8.5m), before the final announcement of the Hajj fare.
