Adamawa Police Command Arrested Suspected Shila Boy and recovering Tricycle and Phone. In Mubi LGA.







 Adamawa State Police Command, in its continued efforts to rid the state of Criminal activities related with Shilla gangsterism, has arrested one Usman Abubakar of Shuware Ward, Mubi North LGA, for causing grievous hurt and Robbery in Mubi.





Police Public Relation Officer Adamawa state Command SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.



The arrest followed a complaint received on  from one Hadiza Atiku of Wuro Harde Ward, Mubi North LGA. that on the same at about 1730hrs, while she was walking around Jambas Hotel, Mubi, the suspect approached blocked her, physically assaulted her and forcefully robbed her of her Infinix WOD Nine handset. The suspect armed himself with  scissors and stabbed her on her face, causing her serious injury.


Upon receiving the report, operatives of the Command attached to Mubi North Divisional police headquarters, swiftly moved into action, leading to the arrest of the suspect and the recovery of the stolen Infinix handset, scissors and a tricycle used in the commission of the crime.


The suspect is currently in a custody aiding investigation. 


The Police Boss while assuring of  the Command's continues committed to sustaining the fight against Shilla gangsterism and other violent crimes in the State, directed that the suspect be charged to court upon completion  of Investigation.
