AIG ZONE 3 YOLA HOSTS COMMISSIONER OF POLICE, ADAMAWA STATE POLICE COMMAND, CP DANKOMBO MORRIS,
On . 28th April 2025, Adamawa State Police Commissioner visit the newly appointed Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 3 Police Headquarters, Yola, which comprised Adamawa and Taraba State Police Commands, *AIG Auwal Musa Muhammad, hosted the Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State Police Command, CP Dankombo Morris, psc, who paid him a courtesy visit alongside members of his management team.
Zonal Police Public Relation Officer Zone 3 Yola SP Yusuf Adamu Muhammed discloused this in a statement made Available to Newsmen in Yola.
In his remarks, CP Dankombo Morris, stated that the purpose of the visit was to pay homage to the AIG and seek his guidance and cooperation in enhancing security in Adamawa State. He pledged his loyalty to the AIG as his immediate supervisor and expressed gratitude for the warm reception accorded to him and his team.
In response, the AIG welcomed the CP wholeheartedly and pledged his full support and guidance, assuring him that his doors would remain open to assist the State Command in any capacity. He emphasized that the Zone plays a supervisory and coordinating role and reiterated his readiness to collaborate closely with the State Command to ensure the effective protection of lives and property.
Furthermore, the AIG urged the CP to intensify efforts, foster strong relationships with critical stakeholders, adopt intelligence-led policing, and implement community policing strategies, in line with the vision of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, to achieve lasting peace and tranquility, thereby facilitating economic recovery and growth in the State and Nigeria as a whole.
