Dondore Community Call for Equitable.

 








Adamawa state government and stakeholders have been urged to do everything possible to pay compensation to residents of Dondore in Yola south following the action by the Transmission Company of Nigeria TCN, Urban Planing and others who threat to demolish their houses in the Name of passing electry high tension through the ward.


Chairman Dondore Community Alhaji Muhammed Goni made the call while speaking with Journalists in Yola Adamawa state Capital.



Alhaji Muhammed Goni said they were mindful of the fact that the project is a development in the state but they are however against any potential inconveniences  it will cause the community calling on governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to intervene and  pay them compensation considering the significance of the money they spent while building their homes which amounts to millions of Naira.


Muhammed Goni stressed that they always support Adamawa state government under the leadership of governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the government of the people, the merciful government,to consider  them and listen to their plight


He commended the governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his effort in providing developmental projects across the state and  prayed to Allah Almighty to protect the governor and his government



He also used the opportunity to call on the officials of the TCN to consider those residing within the higth tension whose houses will be demolished for the project to pay compensation to the owners which will enable them to get alternative resettlements.
