EXECUTIVE SECRETARY, ADAMAWA STATE PILGRIMS COMMISSION, PARTICIPATES IN 2025 PRE-ARAFAT MEETING IN MAKKAH

The Executive Secretary of the Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission, Malam Abubakar Salihu, has participated in the 2025 Pre-Arafat meeting organized by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) in the holy city of Makkah.
The annual Pre-Arafat meeting is a strategic gathering of key stakeholders in Nigeria’s Hajj operations, designed to review logistical preparations and ensure a seamless experience for intending pilgrims. This year’s session brought together officials from various Nigerian state pilgrims’ boards, including directors and technical teams, for intensive briefings and coordination efforts.
Malam Abubakar Salihu, who also serves as the Secretary of the Forum of Chief Executive Officers of Muslim Pilgrims Boards, Agencies, and Commissions in Nigeria, was accompanied by top directors of the Adamawa State Commission. He took an active role in the deliberations, presenting key observations and recommendations aimed at strengthening communication and inter-agency collaboration in the interest of the pilgrims.
Addressing participants during the meeting, Malam Salihu underscored the importance of synergy among stakeholders and emphasized the need for operational excellence throughout the Hajj period.
Present at the meeting was the Adamawa State Amirul Hajj 2025 and Emir of Fufore, His Royal Highness Alhaji Sani Ahmadu Ribadu, along with the Board Chairman of the Commission, Imam Bappari Umar Kem, who both lent their support to the ongoing coordination efforts.
The meeting provided an opportunity for all involved parties to align on critical issues such as accommodation, transportation, health, and security for Nigerian pilgrims during Hajj 2025.
