AIG AKINWALE LEADS TACTICAL SHOOTING EXERCISE IN ZONE 3, YOLA








Assistant Inspector General of Police AIG in charge of Zone 3 Police Headquarters, Yola, AIG Akinwale Kunle Adeniran, psc, mni*, led a shooting range exercise at the Counter-Terrorist Office, located behind NASS FM Radio, Girei LGA, Adamawa State. The AIG was accompanied by members of the Zone's management team during the exercise.



Zonal Police Public Relation Officer SP Yusuf Adamu Muhammed discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.





The exercise commenced with the AIG taking the lead by participating first, followed by his management team, CTU personnel and other officers of the Zone. The session focused on improving marksmanship, precision shooting, and tactical response under pressure. The exercise was convened in line with the vision of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM to ensure the safety and security of all Nigerians. It is scheduled to conclude on Saturday, July 19, 2025.


 In his remarks, the AIG emphasized the need for the personnel to uphold discipline, professionalism, and highlighted the importance of continuous training to enhance operational readiness in tackling security challenge






 Finally, the AIG thanked the public for their continued cooperation and support, and reaffirmed the Zone’s commitment to maintaining peace and security across all communities under his Area of Responsibility (AOR).
