NSCDC: vow to bring peace between farmers and headers in Adamawa.

 








In an effort to overcome clashes between farmers and headers across Adamawa state, the Nigeria security and  civil dafence corps NSCDC Adamawa state Command, has opened a mute outpost in the state.


Public Relations Officer, NSCDC Adamawa state Command, DSC Amidu Nyako Baba, disclosed this while speaking with An Nur News at the Command Headquarters  Yola.


DSC Amidu Baba said considering the importance of peace and unity among  farmers and headers, the Command took steps to tackle any crisis between them, for peace to reign and create an avenue where businesses and other  economic activities can thrive.


Nyako explained that  traditional rulers and community leaders also have their roles to play in supporting the initiative, for the command to have successful implementation.



He also called on the stakeholders, farmers, and herders to give maximum sport to the NSCDC with useful information and not to take laws in their hand when truce arises.




Nyako Amidu maintained that the command is ready to ensure the protection of lives and properties of the cizens in the state.
