NUJ Adamawa Congratulate First Lady Hajiya Lami Fintiri.








The Adamawa state Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ congratulates the First Lady of Adamawa State, Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Fintiri, as First Lady of the Year (Health Care & Grassroots Empowerment) for her impactful work in maternal health, child immunization, and expanding inclusive healthcare services in Adamawa.

The award, the 2025 Nigerian Humanitarian Awards and Magazine, is a product of a competitive public voting process that celebrated her exceptional humanitarian contributions in the areas of healthcare, women empowerment, and girl child support.





NUJ recall that recently the First Lady emerged as the Vice Chairperson on Cancer Association of the 36 Governor's wives Forum.





While congratulating the First Lady, Hajiya Lami Fintiri and His Excellency, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for these recognition, it has to be said that this is a testament of the feat recorded in various spheres of human endeavour in the state.




NUJ therefore stand with Her Excellency and reiterates its commitment in ensuring that the most vulnerable in the state, (women,children and physically challenged) are given a sense of belonging, to compliment these efforts.
