P P S M B Commend Adamawa state government .




In order to improve on the sporting activities among students, the permenet Secretary, local government and chieftaincy Affairs Adamawa State, Abbas Kiri organized sports competition for schools across Shelleng local government area in Adamawa state.



Delivering a speech at an event organized for the upcoming activity, acting Executive Secretary Post Primary Schools Management Board Adamawa state Mr Birsan Penuel said the initiative was apt, and called other local governments to emulate Abbas Kiri for more unity in the state 



Mr Birsan Penuel advised the students to use the sports competition as a Pillar of unity, harmony, and peaceful coexistence across the schools in Adamawa state.



Mr Birsan commended governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his efforts in promoting Education system and developmental projects in the state.



He called on all the  student in Adamawa state to give maximum support to the governor and his administration which will enable him to continue with the good work for the people of the state.



On his part, the permanent Secretary  Local government and chieftaincy Affairs  Abbas Kiri revealed that the essence to organizing the sports competition was to unite and promote good relationship between the students in the Local government in particular and Adamawa state in general.



Abbas said with the initiative peace and love for one another could be promoted through games and sports.


He expressed gratitute to the acting executive secretary post primary management Board Mr Birsan Penuel for his efforts to work closely to promote Education in the state.


The event was attended by dignitaries from the various local governments across twenty one local governments in Adamawa state.

The Adamawa State Police Command regrets to confirm a fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred on 3rd June, 2026, at about 1:50 p.m. along the Narehi area of Girei-Song Local Government Areas. Police Public Relation OfficerAdamawa state Command SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje  discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola. The unfortunate incident involved a military Gun truck travelling from Gombi towards Yola and a commercial Hummer bus conveying five (5) passengers from Yola to Mubi. Preliminary findings reveals that both vehicles were involved in a head-on collision, resulting in the commercial bus flipped over and burst into flames. ASUU MODIBBO ADAMA UNIVERSITY BRANCH COMMENCED TWO WEEK WARNING STRIKE.

NSCDC Adamawa State Command Deploys 2,521 Personnel for Easter Festivitie

By Alhassan Haladu Yola. The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Adamawa State Command, has deployed  2,521 personnel* across the state to ensure a safe and peaceful Easter celebration. The State Commandant, Comdt Idris Bande, issued the directive for the massive deployment to provide adequate safety and security for lives and property, as well as to protect all critical national assets and infrastructure within Adamawa State during the Easter period. Public Relation Officer of the Command Adamawa state DSC Amidu Nyako Baba discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.
