Chief medical Director of Modbbo Adama University Teaching Hospital vows to Enhence Health care in the community.

The Chief Medical Director of Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital, MAUTH, Professor Adamu Bakari Girei, has emphasized the hospital's commitment to collaborating with Shagari Clinic, describing it as a moral duty and shared destiny. This statement was made during a courtesy visit from the Shagari Clinic Ward Development Committee, clinic staff, and officials from the Local Government Development Health Care Agency





Professor Bakari Girei noted that the community's request for collaboration on effective healthcare service delivery was a reminder of the hospital's corporate social responsibility.



He said as a teaching institution, MAUTH has a responsibility to support every healthcare institution within its orbit to enhance its services.




The CMD described the teaching hospital staff visit to the Clinic as a primary stage of the collaboration and assured that measures would be put in place to ensure full implementation. 







Professor Bakari Girei noted that the visit as a vote of confidence and a challenge to accelerate the impact of the partnership.


Commenting, the Executive Chairman of the Adamawa State Primary Health Care Agency, Dr. Suleiman Saidu Bashir, represented by Alhaji Mohammed Bello Saed, lauded the growing ties between the state and federal health structures. 



He noted that the collaboration would ease healthcare services delivery in the area, affirming that "health is hope and partnership is power."



Earlier, the Chairman of the Shagari Ward Development Committee, Shehu Usman Aliyu, represented by Mr. Yohanna Manje, expressed profound appreciation for the CMD's assessment tour of the clinic. 





He said the community is eagerly awaiting for the full commencement of the collaboration, anticipating significant health benefits and hoping it will be enforced before the third quarter of 2025.
