Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital Yola Launches Partnership with Shagari Primary Health Care Center

In a significant step towards enhancing healthcare delivery in Yola, Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital has commenced rendering health consultation services at Shagari Primary Health Care Center. This development follows a request by the Ward Development Committee, WDC of the clinic to the hospital to improve health services in the area.
Led by Dr. Adamu Ijapa, Head of Department of Public Health, a team of doctors from the hospital have provided medical services to patients at the clinic.
Commenting on the exercise, Dr. Adamu Ijapa said the services would be rendered on selected days whose partnership also includes training for the clinic staff to enhance their capacity to deliver quality healthcare services.
Dr. Ijapa assured patients of effective and efficient healthcare services, appealing for cooperation during the partnership. The Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Professor Adamu Bakari Girei, consented to the partnership to strengthen healthcare delivery in the community.
The Chairman of the clinic's Ward Development Committee, Shehu Usman Aliyu, expressed gratitude to Professor Girei for honoring the community's request and to Dr. Ijapa for driving the partnership's implementation. He pledged the committee's support and cooperation to ensure the partnership's success.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Wubsury Yusuf Gilsilambe thanked Professor Girei and all stakeholders for bringing quality healthcare services to the doorstep of the rural community. This partnership is a testament to the hospital's commitment to improving healthcare delivery and strengthening community partnerships.
