Adamawa State Police Command has extended warm greetings to the Muslim Ummah in Adamawa State on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Maulud, which commemorates the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

The Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, urged Muslims to use the celebration as a time for deep reflection on the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet (SAW) that emphasize peace, love, tolerance, justice, humility, and selfless service to humanity.

Police Public Relation Officer Adamawa state Command SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.

CP noted that at a time when the state is enjoying peace that the Command fought to sustain, he calls on religious leaders and citizens to embrace these values in order to foster unity, mutual understanding, and peaceful coexistence in Adamawa State.

The Command encouraged the Muslim faithful to remain steadfast in their prayers for the security and development of the state.
