Parents Urged to Prepare Children for School Resumption

As schools prepare to resume after the long vacation, parents have been advised to ensure their children return to school on time and fully prepared.


The Acting Secretary of the Post Primary Schools Management Board (PPSMB) in Adamawa State, Mr. Birsan Penuel, gave the advice while speaking to newsmen in Yola, the state capital.


Mr. Penuel stressed the importance of parents guiding and supporting their children to return promptly at the resumption of schools. He also called on all stakeholders in the education sector to do everything possible to strengthen the system and ensure children in the state receive quality education.


He commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his efforts in improving the education sector in Adamawa State, describing it as vital for development and peaceful coexistence both in the state and the country at large.


Mr. Penuel further urged citizens to support the Fintiri administration in order to enable the governor to continue implementing developmental projects across the state.
