Adamawa State Police Command, in a sustained effort to demonstrate its commitment to improved security across its borders to prevent violent crimes, protect lives and property, arrest and prosecute offenders, amongst others, deployed more operational manpower to Kiri and Wuro Yanka villages in Shelleng Local Government Area.

Police Public Relation Officer Adamawa state Command SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.

These deployments follow a report received that some miscreants laid ambush on some cattle rearers on separate occasions, killing and maiming their cows.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, warned the officers deployed to display talent, professionalism, and prompt response as part of the strategy to prevent all forms of violent crimes in those areas. The CP further reiterates the commitment of the Command to protect the lives and property of citizens.

The Police Boss demonstrated the effectiveness of intelligence-led policing and the dedication of the officers deployed in combating crime across the border. The Command urges the public to continue cooperating with law enforcement agencies by providing timely information that can aid in preventing crime and ensuring public safety.
