Post Primary Schools Management Board, Adamawa State, Congratulates Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on N U T Award.

The Post Primary Schools Management Board (PPSMB), Adamawa State, has congratulated Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on the award presented to him by the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) during the 2025 World Teachers’ Day celebration held in Abuja.


The Acting Executive Secretary of the Board, Mr. Birsan Penuel, stated this while speaking with journalists shortly after Governor Fintiri received the prestigious award.


Mr. Penuel, on behalf of the Post Primary Schools Management Board, extended heartfelt congratulations to the governor, describing him as a true hero of education who has consistently demonstrated strong commitment and support for the development of the education sector in the state.


He noted that Governor Fintiri has played a vital role in transforming education in Adamawa State through several impactful initiatives, including the payment of free NECO and WAEC examination fees for students across the state, among other reforms.


Mr. Penuel called on the people of Adamawa State, especially parents and guardians, to continue supporting and praying for the administration of Governor Fintiri to enable him to sustain and expand his developmental strides in the education sector.


He also commended the Nigeria Union of Teachers at both the national and state levels for recognizing Governor Fintiri’s remarkable contributions to education and honoring him with the award.
