INTELLIGENCE-LED POLICING: THREE SUSPECTED KIDNAPPERS ARRESTED IN ADAMAWA

Adamawa State Police Command, in its continuous effort to protect lives and property of all residents, has arrested three suspected Kidnappers.
The Arrest followed a Complaint Received On the 19th November 2025, from a resident of a certain village in Song LGA, that on 18th November, 2025 he received a threatening phone call from an unknown subscriber. The caller demanded him to pay the sum of two million naira (₦2,000,000) or risk being kidnapped and possible killing. That gave him a sleepless night.
Police Public Relation Officer Adamawa state Command SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje disclosed this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.
Upon receipt of the complaint, the Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, directed the Assistant Commissioner of Police, State Intelligence Department (SID) Yola, to investigate and ensure the arrest of the perpetrators.
Acting on the directive, the unknown subscriber was technically traced, leading to the arrest of the following suspects :Ahmadu Alhaji Halilu, 24 years Adamu Buba Balejo, 21 years Hassan Alhaji Liman, all males of Malabu district in Fufore LGA
During investigation, the three (3) suspects voluntarily confessed to the crime. A SIM card used in the commission of the offence was also recovered and will be treated as an exhibit.
The Commissioner of Police commended the officers involved in this operation and reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to identifying, arresting, and prosecuting criminals across the state.
Investigation is ongoing after which the suspects will be deligently Prosecuted.
