Over two thousand youths have been trained in various self-reliance skills under the Awwalus Business Concept initiative in Adamawa State.

The Chairman of Awwalus Business Concept, Alhaji Auwal Usman, disclosed this during an interview with journalists in Yola, the state capital.

He said the youth-training programme was introduced in response to the rising challenges faced by young people, particularly unemployment, which continues to affect many across the state.

According to him, empowering youths with practical skills will help promote peace, unity, and development, as well as strengthen the economic growth of both the state and the country.

Alhaji Auwal Usman added that the company remains committed to expanding its youth-empowerment efforts to ensure that young people become self-reliant rather than depending solely on individuals or the government.

He explained that many beneficiaries were trained on how to open digital banking accounts for customers using the Monepoint platform in different parts of Adamawa State. As a result, several young men and women are now actively engaged in helping residents open Monepoint bank accounts across communities.

He advised youths to continue embracing self-reliance skills to improve their living standards and contribute positively to society.
