ADAMAWA STATE POLICE COMMAND, IN COLLABORATION WITH THE MILITARY, LAUNCHES RESCUE OPERATIONS FOLLOWING ALLERGED KIDNAPPING ACTIVITIES BY INSURGENTS IN MADAGALI

Adamawa State Police Command has confirmed an attack on Gare Village, Pallam District, Madagali Local Government Area, in the early hours of today by suspected  terrorists, which led to the abduction of a six(6) family members and the rustling of livestock.


Police Public Relation Officer Adamawa state Command SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje states this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.



Upon receipt of the report, the Command immediately intensified collaboration and deployed additional personnel and operational assets in a joint operation involving the Nigeria Police Force, Troops of 144 Battalion, and the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) to the affected area and surrounding communities.


The Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State Command, CP Dankombo Morris,  has directed sustained search-and-rescue operations, reinforced patrols, and heightened security presence across Madagali and other border communities to ensure the safe rescue/return of the victims and prevent further threats.


The Command in collaboration with the Nigerian Army and other sister security agencies, remain fully committed to protecting lives and properties across the State.
