Adamawa Muslim Council Vows to promote Peace and unity.

As Muslims enter the last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan, a call has been made to the Muslim community across Nigeria to increase their devotion in worship and offer prayers for the country and its leaders for the sake of peace and national development.
The Chairman of the Muslim Council Adamawa State , Alhaji Gambo Jika, made the call while speaking with journalists in Yola.
Alhaji Gambo Jika stated that the last ten days of Ramadan are very significant for Muslims; therefore, they should intensify their acts of worship and prayers, seeking the help of Almighty Allah to address the security challenges and the high cost of living being experienced across Nigeria.
He also urged Islamic scholars, especially those conducting Ramadan Tafsir sessions, to educate people on the importance of peace, unity, and prayers for the progress of the nation.
Gambo Jika further said that there is a need for Muslims, particularly the wealthy, to assist the less privileged and orphans so they may gain spiritual rewards and blessings in their wealth.
He also advised parents to use the Ramadan period to pray for their children so that their lives may improve and develop positively.
He reaffirmed the commitment of the council to do everything necessary to promote unity peace, and the proper development of the Islamic religion.
