Adamawa Police Command Marks National Police Day with Peaceful Procession in Yola

The Adamawa State Police Command commemorated National Police Day with a colorful procession in Yola, aimed at strengthening unity, discipline, and community engagement within the force.


The procession commenced from the Police Headquarters and moved through Mohammed Mustafa Street to Olusegun Obasanjo Road before returning to the Command Headquarters in Yola.


The march featured both senior and junior police officers and was led by the Commissioner of Police for Adamawa State, Kabiru Umara Hassan.

The event was conducted peacefully without any incidents, reflecting the high level of coordination and professionalism among the officers.


Addressing the personnel at the end of the procession, the Commissioner of Police, Kabiru Umara Hassan, expressed satisfaction with the level of cooperation demonstrated by officers during the exercise. He assured them of his commitment to ensuring continuous progress, improved welfare, and enhanced operational efficiency within the force.


The Commissioner further reiterated the command’s dedication to protecting lives and property across the state. He also called on members of the public to continue supporting the police by providing timely and useful information that would assist in crime prevention and maintaining public safety.


Representatives of various organizations that participated in the procession also expressed their appreciation and satisfaction with the successful conduct of the event organized by the police command.
