FRSC, CONDUCT PUBLIC ENLIGHTENMENT CAMPAIGN AT ST. THERESA CATHOLIC CHURCH, YOLA

Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), RS3.1 Adamawa Sector Command, conducted a Public Enlightenment Campaign at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Yola, during the Sunday service as part of activities in preparation for the forthcoming Easter celebrations.

During the service, the Sector Commander, CC Ibrahim A. Sadiq, addressed the congregation during the English Mass, where he sensitized worshippers on the importance of safe road use, adherence to traffic regulations, and the need for caution before,during and after the festive period. He emphasized defensive driving, avoidance of speeding, and the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Similarly, the Sector Public Enlightenment Officer (SPEO), SRC AH Tukur, anipr, delivered the enlightenment message to the Hausa-speaking congregation, stressing the same safety principles and encouraging compliance with road safety rules to ensure a hitch-free Easter celebration.
The service was presided over by the Catholic Bishop of Yola, Most Reverend Stephen Dami Mamza, who led the congregation and appreciated the Corps for its continuous efforts in promoting road safety awareness.
Also in attendance was the Zonal Commanding Officer, RS3 Headquarters Yola, Assistant Corps Marshal AH. Godwin, alongside other staff from the Zonal Command and the Adamawa Sector Command.
The enlightenment campaign was well received by the congregation, who expressed appreciation for the timely sensitization and pledged to adhere to road safety guidelines.
