The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Adamawa State says it has made full preparations to ensure the smooth and safe celebration of the Eid al-Fitr festival across the state. The agency has already deployed 650 personnel to monitor activities and ensure the festivities are conducted without incident.

Public Relation Officer of the FRSC Adamawa Command  SRC A H Tukur discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.

He explained that the agency has mobilized its personnel to maintain order and ensure that the Sallah celebrations proceed peacefully without any problems.

The commander outlined some of the measures taken ahead of the celebration, including the deployment of 4 ambulances, 12 patrol vehicles, and the strategic positioning of officers in various parts of Adamawa State, totaling about 650 personnel.

He advised parents to closely monitor their children, especially those who drive, to help ensure a safe Sallah celebration.

He also urged motorists to drive carefully due to increased movement of people, particularly children, during the festive period.

Furthermore, he reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to working closely with other security agencies to protect lives and property before, during, and after the Sallah celebration.

He called on all residents of Adamawa State to support the FRSC in its efforts to reduce road accidents across the state and the country at large.
