PSC has Commended the screening exercise for recruiting police officers in Adamawa State..”

,The  Commissioner 1 of the Police Service Commission , Justice Paul Adamu ,has visited the Adamawa State Police Command to assess the ongoing recruitment exercise for 50,000 personnel into the Nigeria Police Force.


A statement signed by the Command's Spokesman SP Suleiman Nguroje said,

the Commissioner was received at the Command Headquarters by the Command Management Team led by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Administration, DCP John D. Sendere,  on behalf of the Commissioner of Police.


During the visit, the PSC delegation paid a courtesy call on Lamido Adamawa,Dr. Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha where he underscored the importance of community stakeholder participation and transparency in the recruitment process.


Justice Galamje stated that the recruitment exercise is strictly merit-based, transparent, and adheres to federal character principles. 


He noted that the exercise was approved by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as part of efforts to strengthen the Nigeria Police Force by recruiting 50,000 personnel.


Following the engagement with the Lamido, the Commissioner inspected the recruitment screening venue. 


He expressed satisfaction with the level of organization and compliance with established guidelines and urged officials to maintain professionalism, fairness, and diligence.
