ADAMAWA STATE GIVERNMENT. AND FRSC VOWS TO REDUCING ROAD TRAFFIC CRASHES ACROSS THE STATE.

The Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Adamawa State Command, Corps Commander Ibrahim A. Sadiq, paid an official visit to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmad Umar Fintiri, CON, , at the Government House, Yola.


The purpose of the visit was to strengthen existing collaboration between the Adamawa State Government and the FRSC in the area of road safety management, traffic control, and reduction of road traffic crashes across the State.

During the visit, the Sector Commander expressed appreciation to His Excellency for his continued support to the FRSC Adamawa State Command, particularly in the areas of logistics, operational support, and policy backing which have significantly enhanced the Command’s effectiveness.


Corps Commander Ibrahim A. Sadiq also briefed the Governor on the activities, achievements, and ongoing operations of the Command, while highlighting key challenges affecting optimal service delivery. He further solicited for sustained partnership and additional support to improve road safety initiatives, public enlightenment campaigns, and enforcement strategies within the State.


In his response, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ahmad Umar Fintiri, CON, commended the FRSC for its commitment to saving lives and maintaining safety on the roads. He reassured the Command of the State Government’s continued support and emphasized the importance of inter-agency collaboration in achieving a safer motoring environment.


The visit concluded with renewed commitment from both parties to deepen cooperation towards enhancing road safety and reducing traffic-related incidents in Adamawa State.


Sector Commander was accompanied on the visit by members of his management team.
