Islamic Affairs Council Condemns Guyaku Attack, Extends Condolences to Victims in Gombi

The Islamic Affairs Council in Adamawa State has expressed deep condolences and sympathy to those affected by the bandits’ attack in Guyaku town, located in Gombi Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
The Chairman of the Islamic Affairs Council in Adamawa State, Mallam Gambo Jika, made this known while speaking to journalists in Yola.
Mallam Gambo Jika strongly condemned the attack, describing it as unfortunate and tragic. He prayed to Almighty Allah to bring a complete end to the ongoing security crisis affecting communities.
He extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their loved ones, as well as to the District Head of Gombi, Kumu I of Gombi, Agrey Bechor Ali, Alhaji Usman Ibrahim, the Village Head of Guyaku, and the entire people of Gombi Local Government Area over the sad incident.
He also prayed for the quick recovery of those injured and asked Allah to expose and bring to justice those responsible for the attack.
Furthermore, Mallam Gambo Jika called on security agencies to intensify their efforts in tackling security challenges across Adamawa State and the country as a whole.
The bandits’ attack reportedly resulted in the loss of several lives, left many others injured, and some persons are still missing following the incident.
