JIMETA ELDERS BACK ALIYU ABDULHAMEED ABBATI FOR CENTRAL SENATORIAL SEAT IN 2027 ELECTIONS.
, Jimeta community leaders and influential figures have called on Aliyu AbdulHamid, known as Abbati, to contest for the Senatorial seat to represent the Central Adamawa Senatorial District in the National Assembly in the 2027 elections.
This call came after a large meeting held by the people of Jimeta, which saw the participation of major stakeholders in the town. Which held in Yola North Local Government Adamawa state .
Hon. Suleiman P.A., a member representing Yola North Local Government Area in the Adamawa State House of Assembly, expressed his happiness regarding the gathering, especially the call for Abbati to run for Senate. He praised Abbati's role while he served at NIRSAL and assured that they are ready to offer him their full support to help him succeed in bringing about positive change for the people of Jimeta.
In his address, Alhaji Isa Bagalci emphasized that Abbati had worked on numerous developmental projects in different sectors, and it is crucial for the people to support him so that he can continue his developmental work. He said that the people of Jimeta need Abbati to run for Senate in order to bring progress to the community.
Hassan Turaki, also speaking at the gathering, expressed his happiness and support for the call, stating that Jimeta needs someone like Abbati. He made a strong call for Abbati to contest for Senate, saying that the community needs a representative who will lead the people out of hardship and create job opportunities for the youth.
According to Hassan Turaki, no one else deserves to run for Senate in the Central Adamawa district more than Abbati.
Kawu Wandala also urged for unity, noting that some individuals have not been contributing to the collective efforts, and it is essential for the people of Jimeta to unite for progress. He reiterated his intention to support Abbati's candidacy for Senate.
Danjuma Iliyausu, a resident of Jimeta, also voiced his full support for Abbati’s candidacy, stating that the entire community backs him for the Senate race, as they believe Abbati is the right person to represent the Central Adamawa Senatorial District in the National Assembly.
In his speech, Aliyu AbdulHamid (Abbati) expressed that Jimeta deserves to benefit more from democracy. He highlighted the fact that the town has been deprived of various benefits and promised that if he succeeds, he will bring about various infrastructural and developmental improvements to Jimeta. He expressed his gratitude for the support he has received and assured the people that, with God's will, he will not disappoint them.
