Obtain Your Voter Cards to Shape the Future in 2027 Adamawa Aide Urges Citizens

By Alhassan Haladu Yola.

The Special Assistant to the Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri, on Public Affairs, Barrister Sunday Wugira, has called on citizens to ensure they obtain their voter cards in order to participate in electing leaders of their choice in the 2027 general elections.

Barrister Sunday Wugira made this appeal while speaking with journalists in Yola.

He emphasized that it is very important for all eligible citizens to obtain their voter cards promptly, as this gives them the power to elect credible leaders.

He added that although the country has practiced democratic governance for many years, the level of development achieved has not met expectations. Therefore, he stressed the need for citizens to carefully study and evaluate candidates before choosing leaders to represent them.

The barrister also advised voters not to allow themselves to be misled or deceived.

He urged them to remain cautious and deliberate in selecting capable leaders who can govern effectively without causing problems.

He further warned that if people allow themselves to be deceived by empty promises and elect unqualified leaders, they should not blame anyone but themselves.

Barrister Sunday Wugira also cautioned citizens against being divided along religious, political, ethnic, or sectional lines for the benefit of selfish individuals. He encouraged them to remain vigilant against such tactics.

He added that people should always promote unity, wish one another well, and pray for lasting peace among all citizens.

Finally, he called on the youth to actively contribute to strengthening democracy and unity for the overall development of the state and the country as a whole.
