ZONE 3 HEADQUARTERS, YOLA CONDUCTS SHOOTING RANGE EXERCISE FOR POLICE CONSTABLES.

In line with the directive of the Inspector-General of Police,  IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, , NPM,  to retrain Police Constables on firearms proficiency exercise across the Federation, the Zone 3 Headquarters, Yola has commenced a comprehensive shooting range exercise for its personnel.



Public Relation Officer Zone 3 Yola Adamawa state Command SP Aminu Umar Bashir discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.


The Assistant Inspector-General of Police, in-charge of Zone 3 Headquarters, Yola,  AIG Akinwale Kunle Adeniran psc,  mni, mspsp, has fully complied with the IGP directive by organizing the retraining programme. The exercise focuses on improving officers weapon handling skills and overall firearms proficiency. The exercise took place today at the Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU) Base in yola.


The exercise carried out under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Department of Operations, Zone 3 Headquarters, Yola.


Speaking during the exercise, AIG Akinwale advises the officers to remain discipline, professionalism and dedicated to their duties. He further cautioned them to uphold human rights standard and avoid any abuse of power in the course of thier responsibilities.

The Adamawa State Police Command regrets to confirm a fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred on 3rd June, 2026, at about 1:50 p.m. along the Narehi area of Girei-Song Local Government Areas. Police Public Relation OfficerAdamawa state Command SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje  discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola. The unfortunate incident involved a military Gun truck travelling from Gombi towards Yola and a commercial Hummer bus conveying five (5) passengers from Yola to Mubi. Preliminary findings reveals that both vehicles were involved in a head-on collision, resulting in the commercial bus flipped over and burst into flames. Tragically, all five passengers aboard the Hummer bus were burnt to death after the vehicle caught fire following the collision. ASUU MODIBBO ADAMA UNIVERSITY BRANCH COMMENCED TWO WEEK WARNING STRIKE.

NSCDC Adamawa State Command Deploys 2,521 Personnel for Easter Festivitie

The State Commandant, Comdt Idris Bande, issued the directive for the massive deployment to provide adequate safety and security for lives and property, as well as to protect all critical national assets and infrastructure within Adamawa State during the Easter period.
