A prominent political stakeholder in Adamawa State, Hassan Ali Soja, has declared his unwavering support for Engineer Ahmed Salihijo's bid to represent Yola South, Yola North, and Girei Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives during the 2027 general elections.

Speaking during an interview with journalists in Yola, Hassan Ali Soja described Ahmed Salihijo as a capable, experienced, and development-oriented leader whose contributions to the growth of communities across the constituency have distinguished him among other aspirants.

According to him, Salihijo has consistently demonstrated commitment to improving the living conditions of the people through numerous community-based projects that have positively impacted both rural and urban areas of the constituency.

He noted that among Salihijo's notable achievements are the installation of solar-powered street lights in several communities, which has enhanced security and improved economic activities, especially at night.

Hassan Ali Soja further highlighted Salihijo's youth and women empowerment initiatives, saying that hundreds of beneficiaries have acquired vocational and entrepreneurial skills through various training programmes sponsored by the engineer. He added that many of the beneficiaries are now self-reliant and contributing meaningfully to the local economy.

He also commended Salihijo's investment in education, particularly through the provision of scholarships to students from different communities within Adamawa State and beyond. According to him, the scholarships have enabled many young people to pursue higher education and realize their academic aspirations.

The political ally emphasized that Ahmed Salihijo's humanitarian interventions and grassroots engagements have earned him the trust and confidence of the electorate across Yola South, Yola North, and Girei local government areas.

Hassan Ali Soja therefore called on residents of the constituency, irrespective of political affiliation, to rally behind Salihijo and support his aspiration in order to sustain and expand the developmental projects already initiated across the area.

He expressed confidence that if elected into the House of Representatives, Salihijo would facilitate more people-oriented projects, create employment opportunities for youths and women, attract federal presence to the constituency, and contribute to strengthening peace, unity, and economic prosperity.

While reaffirming his commitment to the campaign, Hassan Ali Soja pledged to mobilize support at the grassroots level to ensure Ahmed Salihijo emerges victorious in the 2027 elections, stressing that the constituency needs a representative with proven dedication to service and community development.
