ADAMAWA CP WARNS AGAINST RECKLESS AND DANGEROUS DRIVING

BY Alhassan Haladu Yola.

The Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State Command, CP KABIR UMAR HASSAN, fdc, has expressed grave concern over the reckless and dangerous driving habits of some motorists in the state.

POlice Public Relation Officer Adamawa state Command SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje disclosed this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.

The CP noted with dismay the increasing cases of over-speeding, dangerous overtaking, use of phones while driving, and disregard for traffic rules which endanger the lives of other road users.

The Command vows to deal decisively with violators of traffic rules and regulations. To this end, the Traffic Unit and Tactical Teams have been directed to intensify enforcement, conduct regular patrols, and arrest offenders.

The Commissioner of Police therefore urges all drivers to obey traffic laws, avoid driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and prioritize safety at all times. Road safety is a collective responsibility.

The Command will not hesitate to prosecute anyone found violating traffic laws.
