ADAMAWA POLICE CONFIRM SERIOUS ROAD TRAFFIC CRASH ON GIREI BRIDGE, NO LOSS OF LIFE

The Adamawa State Police Command wishes to inform the public of a serious motor accident that occurred today across the bridge along Girei Road.


Police Public Relation Office Asamawa state Command SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje stated this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.


The crash involved a Tipper, two motor vehicles, and two tricycles. 


Following prompt response by Police operatives and other emergency responders, victims who sustained varying degrees of injury were immediately evacuated to the hospital for medical attention.


The Command wishes to confirm that no loss of life was recorded in the accident.


Men of the Police and FRSC are currently on ground managing traffic and ensuring free flow of vehicular movement along the axis.


The Commissioner of Police, CP Kabir Umar Hassan, fdc, urges motorists to drive with caution, obey traffic regulations, and avoid over-speeding, especially on bridges and highways.


Members of the public are advised to cooperate with traffic personnel to ensure safety.
