FRSC Adamawa Sector Command, through its SERVICOM Unit in collaboration with the Medical Team from FRSC RS3 Zonal Headquarters, Yola, conducted a medical outreach exercise at Wauru Jabbe Community.

To comply with the directive of the Corps Marshal on the need for periodic medical outreach programmes for FRSC personnel and members of the public, while promoting healthy living and strengthening community relations through the provision of free healthcare services.


Public Relation Officer Asamawa state Command SRC A H Tukur stated this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.


The programme was attended by: - DCC (OPS)Tijani Aliyu, who represented the Sector Commander, CC Ibrahim A. Sadiq.

- Officers and Marshals of the Adamawa Sector Command.

- SERVICOM Desk Officer

- Medical team from the FRSC RS3 Zonal Headquarters, Yola.

- NAS FM Radio,Yola

- Sunshine Radio, Yola

- ATV, Yola

- Primary Health Care personnel 

- The District Head of Kilbaji, Wauru Jabbe, Alhaji Dauda Usman

- Members of the Wauru Jabbe Community.



In line with the Corps Marshal's directive on periodic medical outreach, the FRSC Adamawa Sector Command, through its SERVICOM Unit in collaboration with the Medical Team from FRSC RS3 Zonal Headquarters, Yola, conducted a medical outreach exercise at Wauru Jabbe Community.


The Sector Commander, CC Ibrahim A. Sadiq, was represented by the Deputy Corps Commander (Operations), DCC Tijani Aliyu, who conveyed the Sector Commander's message and reaffirmed the Corps' commitment to improving the health and well-being of personnel and the motoring public through regular medical outreach initiatives.


The medical team provided free medical consultations, blood pressure and blood sugar checks, diagnosis of common ailments, health education and counselling, as well as the distribution of prescribed medications to beneficiaries.


The District Head of Wauru Jabbe, Alhaji Bashiru Ahmadu, appreciated the Corps Marshal and the Adamawa Sector Command for bringing the medical outreach to his community and assured the Corps of the community's continued support.




The outreach recorded a good turnout of community members who actively participated and benefited from the free medical services. The exercise further  enhanced the positive image of the Federal Road Safety Corps and strengthened its relationship with the host community.



The program was successfully conducted in compliance with the Corps Marshals' directives.

The Adamawa State Police Command regrets to confirm a fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred on 3rd June, 2026, at about 1:50 p.m. along the Narehi area of Girei-Song Local Government Areas. ASUU MODIBBO ADAMA UNIVERSITY BRANCH COMMENCED TWO WEEK WARNING STRIKE.

NSCDC Adamawa State Command Deploys 2,521 Personnel for Easter Festivitie

The State Commandant, Comdt Idris Bande, issued the directive for the massive deployment to provide adequate safety and security for lives and property, as well as to protect all critical national assets and infrastructure within Adamawa State during the Easter period.
