Gombe Tsangaya Scholars Endorses Jamilu Gwamna, Pledges 150,000 Votes.

The governorship aspiration of Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna has received another major boost, following his endorsement by the coalition of  Tsangaya Qur’anic scholars known as "Alarammomi" across Gombe State.


Ibrahim Sani Shawai, Media Aide to Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna stated this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Gombe.



The endorsement attracted over 2,000 scholars, members and students drawn  across Gombe State, pledging 150,000 votes for his election.


The endorsement by the Tsangaya community represents another significant expansion of the political and grassroots support for  Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna.

The Adamawa State Police Command regrets to confirm a fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred on 3rd June, 2026, at about 1:50 p.m. along the Narehi area of Girei-Song Local Government Areas. Police Public Relation OfficerAdamawa state Command SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje  discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola. The unfortunate incident involved a military Gun truck travelling from Gombi towards Yola and a commercial Hummer bus conveying five (5) passengers from Yola to Mubi. Preliminary findings reveals that both vehicles were involved in a head-on collision, resulting in the commercial bus flipped over and burst into flames. Tragically, all five passengers aboard the Hummer bus were burnt to death after the vehicle caught fire following the collision. ASUU MODIBBO ADAMA UNIVERSITY BRANCH COMMENCED TWO WEEK WARNING STRIKE.

NSCDC Adamawa State Command Deploys 2,521 Personnel for Easter Festivitie

The State Commandant, Comdt Idris Bande, issued the directive for the massive deployment to provide adequate safety and security for lives and property, as well as to protect all critical national assets and infrastructure within Adamawa State during the Easter period.
