Parents, especially mothers, have been urged to instill love for Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his family in their children from an early age, as a foundation for moral and spiritual growth.
Hajiya Amina Muhammad Bashir made the call during a Maulid celebration held at the residence of Modibbo Ahmadu Ganye in Ganye Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
Speaking at the event, Hajiya Amina said Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon Him, has emphasized teaching children three core values: love for the Prophet, love for his family, and recitation of the holy Quran, thereby urging parents to intensify efforts to nurture these values in their children.
She also encouraged those who attended the Maulud, to put into practice, the lessons and admonishions delivered during the occasion to improve their lives and contribute to the progress of Islam.
She further advice participants to serve asu ambassadors by sharing the messages with members of the community who could not attend, so that the benefits of the gathering would reach a wider audience.
Hajiya Amina describes this year’s celebration as peaceful and more successful, noting that Maulud celebrations have been progressing on yearly basis.
Also speaking, Barrister Hapsat Usman commended the organizers for the smooth conduct of the event. She said the large turnout of children alongside their parents made the celebration particularly beneficial.
