Sardaunan Gombe: A Leader Built on Character and Knowledge.

Good character and sound morals are the foundation of good leadership. Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna (Sardaunan Gombe) comes from a highly respected family rooted in education, enterprise, discipline, philanthropy and service to humanity.



Ibrahim Sani Shawai is the Media Aide to Sardaunan Gombe. disclosed this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Gombe.


His father, Alh. Isyaku Gwamna is a disciplinarian, philanthropist, businessman and Islamic leader. Growing up in such an environment helped shape Sardauna’s character and outlook on life. He values truth, keeps his word, respects trust and treats people with dignity and respect regardless of their status.


Yet, despite his distinguished background, Sardauna is neither arrogant nor given to displaying his privilege. He is humble, accessible and compassionate. From his upbringing, he inherited a strong sense of kindness, generosity, good human relations and responsibility towards others.


But good upbringing alone does not define him.


Sardauna has pursued education to different levels and is both a Phd holder and a Hafiz of the Qur’an. This combination of professional education and deep religious learning has shaped a man who understands that knowledge is more than certificates and titles. It must produce wisdom, discipline, good character, responsibility and service to society.


Perhaps, one of the clearest expressions of his character is his restraint. Sardauna is a man of few words. He does not indulge in unnecessary talk or political noise. When he speaks, he speaks with purpose. His composure, particularly in moments of intense political activity, reflects maturity, wisdom and a strong sense of responsibility.


For Sardauna, knowledge is not something to be advertised; it is something to be practised.


His conduct, decisions and relationships with people demonstrate the values he professes. He understands that education without character is incomplete, just as leadership without integrity cannot inspire lasting trust.


Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna represents a combination that leadership desperately needs: knowledge with character, education with humility, faith with compassion, and privilege with responsibility.


Sardauna is a product of good upbringing, sound education, humility, integrity and compassion.


Because leadership is not only about what a man knows. It is also about who he is.

The Adamawa State Police Command regrets to confirm a fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred on 3rd June, 2026, at about 1:50 p.m. along the Narehi area of Girei-Song Local Government Areas. Police Public Relation OfficerAdamawa state Command SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje  discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola. The unfortunate incident involved a military Gun truck travelling from Gombi towards Yola and a commercial Hummer bus conveying five (5) passengers from Yola to Mubi. Preliminary findings reveals that both vehicles were involved in a head-on collision, resulting in the commercial bus flipped over and burst into flames. Tragically, all five passengers aboard the Hummer bus were burnt to death after the vehicle caught fire following the collision. NSCDC Adamawa State Command Deploys 2,521 Personnel for Easter Festivitie

The State Commandant, Comdt Idris Bande, issued the directive for the massive deployment to provide adequate safety and security for lives and property, as well as to protect all critical national assets and infrastructure within Adamawa State during the Easter period. Public Relation Officer of the Command Adamawa state DSC Amidu Nyako Baba discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola.
