The Muslim community, particularly parents, has been urged to pay greater attention to providing their children with Qur’anic education from an early age, as this will help them acquire sound and quality education.
The Principal of Kulliyatul Qur’an Yola, Mallam Idris Abdullahi Ahmad, made this known during an interview with journalists in Yola.
Mallam Idris Abdullahi Ahmad said that giving children the opportunity to study the Holy Qur’an is very important because, according to him, it helps develop their mental capacity and enables them to understand and learn other subjects more effectively in any school they attend.
He urged parents to intensify their efforts in enrolling their children in Qur’anic memorization schools to ensure that they receive sound education and contribute to the advancement of Qur’anic studies and the Islamic religion.
He also advised parents to ensure that they pay their children's school fees promptly, explaining that such payments help the school carry out its activities effectively and ensure that the children receive the education they deserve.
Mallam Idris further emphasized the importance of introducing children to the study of the Holy Qur’an at an early age, noting that doing so would provide them with a strong foundation for acquiring quality education and becoming responsible members of the Muslim community.
