Assistant Inspector General of Police AIG in charge of Zone 3 Police Headquarters, Yola, AIG Akinwale Kunle Adeniran, psc, mni*, led a shooting range exercise at the Counter-Terrorist Office, located behind NASS FM Radio, Girei LGA, Adamawa State. The AIG was accompanied by members of the Zone's management team during the exercise. Adamawa State Commissioner of Police CP Dankombo Morris,  have taken steps to curtail spread of violence after hoodlums torched thatched huts in Rigange and Waduku communities in Lamurde local government area. Following the deployment of additional police personnel to augment strength of the Divisional Police Officer Tigno and Lamurde LGA, normalcy has been restored to the affected areas. Preliminary investigations reveal that the conflict is linked to a disputed farmland currently under court litigation and a total of 33 round huts and three flat houses were discovered burnt, while searching for casualties is still ongoing to ascertain the actual number. The Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State, CP Dankombo Morris, has condemned the recent unrest involving members of the Chobo and Bachama Communities in Rigange, Lamurde Local Government Area.
