AIG AKINWALE LEADS TACTICAL SHOOTING EXERCISE IN ZONE 3, YOLA

Assistant Inspector General of Police AIG in charge of Zone 3 Police Headquarters, Yola, AIG Akinwale Kunle Adeniran, psc, mni*, led a shooting range exercise at the Counter-Terrorist Office, located behind NASS FM Radio, Girei LGA, Adamawa State. The AIG was accompanied by members of the Zone's management team during the exercise. ADAMAWA CP EMBARKED ON CONFIDENCE BUILDING PATROL AT LAMURDE LGA.

Adamawa State Commissioner of Police CP Dankombo Morris,  have taken steps to curtail spread of violence after hoodlums torched thatched huts in Rigange and Waduku communities in Lamurde local government area. Police Public Relation Officer Adamawa  Command SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje stated this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola. CP in the early hours of Thursday 10th July, 2025 patrols the affected communities, assessed the level of destruction and vowed to decisively dealt with the perpetrators and their collaborators in accordance with the law. He called on residents to remain calm and cooperate with the security personnel deployed by reporting any suspicious activities to the police.

Chairman ,Muslim Council Mubi North Adamawa state Ibrahim Danmama Umar, gave the advice while speaking with An Nur Hausa Blog in Yola, Adamawa state Capital. Danmama Umar identified considering the Islamic Calendar among Muslims as important, noting that its use in activities like weeding, events, ceremony, and others will serve as important reminders of its months to the believers. PEACE RESTORED IN TIGNO AND LAMURDE OF ADAMAWA STATE.

Following the deployment of additional police personnel to augment strength of the Divisional Police Officer Tigno and Lamurde LGA, normalcy has been restored to the affected areas. Police Public Relation Officer Adamawa state Command SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje discloused this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola. Preliminary investigations reveal that the conflict is linked to a disputed farmland currently under court litigation and a total of 33 round huts and three flat houses were discovered burnt, while searching for casualties is still ongoing to ascertain the actual number. To strengthen security and prevent a further breakdown of law and order, more Mobile Police Force (PMF), operation farauta and Counter Terrorism unit personnel have been deployed to the area. While peace has been restored, investigations are still ongoing to identify and apprehend the perpetrators and their collaborators.

The Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State, CP Dankombo Morris, has condemned the recent unrest involving members of the Chobo and Bachama Communities in Rigange, Lamurde Local Government Area. Police Public Relation Officer Adamawa state Command SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje announce this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Yola   CP ordered immediate deployment of police personnel to the area to restore peace, order, and prevent further violence.   In an effort to overcome clashes between farmers and headers across Adamawa state, the Nigeria security and  civil dafence corps NSCDC Adamawa state Command, has opened a mute outpost in the state. Public Relations Officer, NSCDC Adamawa state Command, DSC Amidu Nyako Baba, disclosed this while speaking with An Nur News at the Command Headquarters  Yola.
