Adamawa State Police Command has received a report of unprofessional conduct displayed by some police personnel deployed to a nipping point attached to Jimeta Divisional police headquarters, who were on duty along River Side, Jimeta. Preliminary findings revealed that the officers stopped a Mercedes 180 for routine search, during which the occupants resisted. In the course of the encounter, one of the officers behaved in a way and manner prejudicial to discipline by firing gun shots at the vehicle’s tyres, an act considered unnecessary and unprofessional. The Arrest followed a Complaint Received On the 19th November 2025, from a resident of a certain village in Song LGA, that on 18th November, 2025  he received a threatening phone call from an unknown subscriber. The caller demanded him to pay the sum of two million naira (₦2,000,000) or risk being kidnapped and possible killing. That gave him a sleepless night. The Directives follows a complaint received from family members that on 21st November, 2025, between hours of 3:00am to 4:00am, yet-to-be-identified men armed themselves with offensive weapons invaded the victim’s residence, attacked, and robbed him of his belongings. The incident occurred on the 6th of November, 2025, following a little  misunderstanding that started at a beer parlor between the couple. During the altercation, the suspect reportedly attacked and stabbed the victim multiple times all over her body with a knife and axe. Adamawa State Police Command has, on the 6th of November, 2025, successfully rescued a kidnapped victim, one Abdullahi Usman, a resident of Unguwan Abuja, Viniklang in Girei Local Government Area. The recovery was made around Ngurore axis by police operatives attached to Ngurore Division.
